Innovative medical start-ups: international founders improve cancer therapy

Entrepreneurs with foreign roots, such as Portuguese researcher Prof Dr Angela Moreira Borralho Relógio, think big and internationally. With her start-up TimeTeller, she is developing a test that uses the body's internal clock to optimise cancer therapies. Her aim is to make treatments more effective and better tolerated by administering medication at the right time of day. TimeTeller, which has already won several awards, is working towards certification as a medical device and aims to make its innovative technology available to the general public.
