Ten federal states, ten startups led by women, and ten amazing presentations - the finale of Female StartAperitivo offered a top-notch pitching event. Many of the pitches revolved around the avoidance of plastic and overall waste, as well as health-related topics. This was also the case for the evening's winner, Angela Relógio from Hamburg, who impressed with her startup TimeTeller and a life-saving idea. In this article, we will introduce her and all the other candidates.
Prof. Dr. Angela Relógio from TimeTeller had won the Hamburg semi-finals and once again garnered the most votes. She is developing a saliva test that determines the optimal timing for chemotherapy. This has a tremendous impact on the treatment's tolerability and effectiveness, and can literally be a matter of life and death. It will take several more years and €4 million in investor funds for TimeTeller to reach the market. The €5,000 prize money is just a small beginning, but what is crucial for a project like this is visibility, and Female StartAperitivo certainly provides that.

Notable pitches included Everchange, addressing women's health with online courses, and Womatics, offering solutions for breastfeeding pain. The winner, TimeTeller, led by Prof. Dr. Angela Relógio, focuses on optimizing chemotherapy timing based on the body's internal clock.
